I’ve been writing nearly everyday since I was eight years old and while I love all kinds of stories, romance has always been the backbone of my favourite books.

As a lifelong reader and literary nerd, I love to write epic romances that span years, about heroes who are morally grey and women who aren’t afraid to stand toe to toe with them. I’m drawn to telling complicated love stories because I believe life is incredibly complex and the obstacles we face as individuals and in relationships just make both stronger and more beautiful.

I’m living my own gorgeous, young love, second chance, friends to lovers romance with my husband, Mr. Darling. We live on an island in British Columbia, Canada, with our sweet dog, Romeo.

Before I became a romance novelist,

I was a food blogger and I briefly owned a whole sale pie company! I’m a lifetime athlete, playing soccer, basketball, softball, field hockey, and golf, and I still coach high school soccer and basketball, so I come by my competitive spirit naturally. As a born reader and self-proclaimed geek, I’m enamoured with mythology, history, and any kind of literature, TV, and film I can get my hands on. 

Before I settled in my hometown, I lived in Toronto and Paris, and traveled all over Europe. My favourite country is Italy (the food, the culture, the landscape, the vibrancy!) and my home away from home is a little place in the French Alps where I met and fell in love with a France family who taught me all about the found family I write about in all my books.
